Beetroot Buttermilk (Cukandara Chaas) Recipe | Summer Drinks Recipes
Beetroot Buttermilk or cukandara chaas is easy, quick buttermilk recipe with addition of beetroot and few extra ingredients to take usual buttermilk or chaas to all new level. Beetroot not only make the buttermilk more pretty but it also taste yum and of course added nutrition of beetroot. I love beetroot and that's a known fact here, in my house there are hardly any days when I don't have beetroot in stock.

Ingredients:
- 1/2 Cup - Plain Yogurt/Curd/Dahi
- 2 Cups - Water
- To Taste - Salt To Grind
- 1/4 Cup - Chopped Beetroot
- 1 - Green Chili
- 1/2 tsp - Chopped Ginger
- 4 Stalks - Coriander Leaves
- 4 Stalks - Mint Leaves
Method:
- Peel and chop beetroot and grind together with green chili, ginger, coriander leaves, mint leaves.
- In a wide bowl whisk curd/yogurt well, add water, salt, beetroot paste and mix well. Strain/filter buttermilk and serve.
