Phalahari Hari (dhaniya) Chutney Recipe for Fasting | Navratri Vrat-Upwas Recipes
Phalahari Hari Chutney or Vrat ki dhaniya chatni or fasting green coriander chutney whatever we may call is chutney recipe suitable for Navratri or any other fasting. This is no onion no garlic recipe and made with simple and few ingredients. This simple green chutney is suitable for fasting or just any day you just want to replace sendha namak (rock salt) with normal salt if not making this during fasting.
Anyways, this is one chutney that I make often during fasting as it's goes well with anything and not to mention the green color is always so eye smoother. Like I said you can make this chutney any time it doesn't limit to use only during fasting.
You can use this chutney in various recipes suitable for Navratri fasting (vrat/upwas) like:

Ingredients:
- 1 Cup - Coriander Leaves
- 3 or 4 - Green Chilies
- 1/2 tsp - Sugar
- To Taste - Sendha Namak/Rock Salt
- 1/2 tsp - Cumin Powder
- 1/2 tbsp - Lemon Juice
Method:
- In a mixer or blender add all the ingredients and grind into smooth paste. Don't use water.
- Transfer prepared chutney in a bowl and serve.
- You can add 1 tsp chat masala if you take chat masala while fasting.
- If not making this chutney while fasting add normal salt instead of sendha namak or add black salt (kala namak).
