In our home papaya in form of juice or smoothie is more preferred than eating the fruit as it is so normally I will make smoothie, milkshake or juice and before doing it I will keep the papaya 3-4 days outside to let it ripe well so I don't have to add extra sugar or add very minimal and not to mention the beautiful color we get it always looks so pretty. Also Papaya Juice are normally very filling which can last you for longer time compare or other juice. I added along apples and it make the juice thick plus more nutrition.
This juice is also suitable for Sehri/Suhoor or Iftar or for a quick breakfast as it's filling. generally I made this as easy breakfast or pair it up with a sandwich. If you are among the one whom doesn't like to eat papaya as it is or have a family member then juicing is one of the best option.
Papaya is rich in antioxidants, one of the best source of fiber and if taken regular it said to help in weight loss, arthritis, heart diseases etc but I am not sure how authentic the claim is and if you are looking for any of these reason then do proper research meanwhile we just enjoy the juice.

Ingredients:
Ripe Papaya - Half from one large fruit or 4 cups chopped loosely packed
Apple - 2 or 2 cups chopped loosely packed
Sugar/Honey - To Taste (I used 2 tsp)
Water - 4-5 Cups
Cardamom - 1 (optional)
Ice Cubes - Few, if required
Method:
1. Peel, de-seed and chop papaya. Core and chop apples, you can peel apple if wished, I didn't do that.
2. In a blender or mixer add papaya, apple pieces, 1 cup water and blend until smooth around 1-2 minutes.
3. Add sugar or honey another more water, cardamom (if using) and blend for a minute.
Chill and serve or add ice cubes before serving. Enjoy the your juice.
