Strawberry and Oats Milkshake Recipe | Summer Drink Recipes
I prefer milkshake over juice if I am making it at home cause it's more filling, easy and quick. Juices are also easy and quick but then straining and cleaning part takes little time. We get strawberry in Singapore around the year to relish. This is one of my breakfast milkshake easy, quick and hassle free. Oats add good volume to the milkshake to make it filling, I do the same with apple, banana and few other fruits.
If you wish you can skip oats and make this as only strawberry milkshake, add ice cream to make it creamy and more delicious. One can do lot of variations with milkshake it's just how wild you think. As I said it's a great breakfast milkshake specially if you are in hurry or your kids refuse to eat then give this milkshake to your kid as a breakfast or after school snack. You can also add any nuts to make it more nutritious as I do in my fruits and nuts milkshake, each time try different variations and please your family. As such we all know how to make juice, milkshake etc but I just post these recipes to give idea and suggestion of variations we can do. Strawberry and Oats Milkshake Recipe

Ingredients:
Fresh Strawberries - 10-12
Roasted Oats - 1/4 Cup
Chilled Milk - 3 Cup
Sugar - 1 tbsp [or to taste]
Method:
1. Wash the berries, remove hull and chop it.
2. In a blender or mixer add roasted oats, strawberry and blend for minute.
3. Now add milk, sugar and blend again for 1-2 minutes or until smooth.
Add ice cubes or chill and serve.
Notes ~
- You can skip oats and make this as strawberry milkshake.
- Sugar quantity depends on your side and sweetness of strawberries.
- You can add vanilla or strawberry ice cream as a topping or while blending to make it rich and creamy milkshake.
